Principals Message

Dear White Oaks families,

Walk-a-Thon is Today!
I hope to see you all at White Oaks THIS afternoon at 1 p.m. for our annual Walk-a-Thon! From 2-4 p.m., we’ll start our Family Fun Day. It’s not too late to sign up to volunteer for this afternoon. See you there!

Teal Pumpkin Project
With Halloween right around the corner, White Oaks is supporting the Teal Pumpkin Project, raising awareness for food allergies and promoting inclusion of all trick-or-treaters. Parents can go onto the Teal Pumpkin Project site and log your home as a "Teal Pumpkin" home so trick-or-treaters know where to go.

SCSD Strategic Plan

WEEK 5: The School - Join us as we take you on a journey through the very core of our new SCSD Strategic Plan

We're thrilled to unveil the core of our vision – a school that's adaptable, welcoming, and ready to empower all learners, staff, families, and the community. Our success indicators speak volumes:

  • Adaptive Infrastructure: Our schools are adaptive and robust to meet the evolving climate and learning needs, ensuring a safe and supportive environment.
  • Community Embrace: We're all about building partnerships and fostering inclusivity. We welcome families, communicate openly with parents and caregivers, and collaborate with our community.
  • Innovation Hub: Our schools innovate and design to meet future-ready student needs, inside and outside the classroom. It's all about innovation and preparing our learners for what's ahead.
  • Teacher Growth: Our dedicated educators have the support they need to grow and develop through professional learning and collaboration time.
  • Integrated Learning: We blend academics, real-world experiences, and joy to create engaging and holistic learning experiences for our students.
  • Whole Child Priority: We prioritize the comprehensive needs of each child, offering the support and interventions required for their well-being.

This is just the beginning of our journey, and we're excited to share more about our vision for SCSD. Together, we're building a brighter, more inclusive future for all!

Warmly,
Leah Scholer
Principal
