The White Oaks School Site Council consists of 5 parent or community members and 5 staff members, which always includes the principal. Parent/community members are selected through the election process.

Don’t miss our first PTA meeting of the year on Wednesday, September 2 at 8pm via Zoom. We will be hearing about our incredible year ahead from our principal, Mrs. Scholer and our new Idea Teams. All parents are welcome to attend! Just a friendly reminder that to be eligible to vote, you must be a member of the PTA. Look for the link in this week's WOW. We hope to see you there!

This past summer, SCEF and school PTA leaders decided to collaborate to raise much-needed support for our students. Working together, we can create the best experience possible for our eager students and outstanding teachers. The TeamKid campaign is a result of this cooperation. Through your two-fold commitment to SCEF and PTA, you’ll be supporting the local-level funding that bridges the gap between the needs of San Carlos Schools, and our CA state funding. Your school will benefit from your contribution to PTA as a donor, member, and advocate. As always, your school will continue to have important programs and people funded by the grant from SCEF. Join TeamKid by making your PTA donation this fall and planning your SCEF donation for a date that works best for your family.

Instead of doing two (a Principal’s and Teacher’s), each teacher will be sharing a message from me, our PTA, and SCEF during their classroom presentations along with more class information, routines and expectations, and other news for the upcoming year.

Welcome to the 2020-21 school year at White Oaks. Our PTA theme this year is Stronger Together. Back in March when this all began and we started to navigate these uncharted waters, we came together as a community and wholeheartedly believed that we would be stronger together. We still believe in that today.
