When the Air Quality Index is GOOD to MODERATE (0-100), the district will maintain regular school routines, continuing outdoor recess, lunch and P.E. Our priority is to maintain safe in-person learning for students. Read the full district protocols for details and answers to frequently asked questions.

The School Site Council is a representative group of parents and staff members charged with identifying and implementing curriculum and instructional practices, and ensuring that all students have access to and success in those programs. Times for the start of school, recess, lunch and dismissal. On Wednesdays and minimum days, all students begin school at 8:25 and are dismissed at 12:25. There is no lunch period on Wednesdays.

The calendar for the 2021-2022 school year was approved at the Board meeting on Thursday, May 20. The SCSD Calendar is the official calendar for the school year for all schools (except San Carlos Charter), and includes all start and end dates, official holidays, and in-service teacher workdays.
