Principal’s Message

Dear White Oaks Families,
We’ve completed Trimester 2 and WOW, how our students have grown! We are so proud of their efforts! Trimester report cards will be available for families after March 13. Our district office will send an email with instructions for accessing them. We look forward to celebrating your child’s growth and continuing to partner together in their academic and social-emotional learning.
In March, we celebrate Abilities Awareness Week (March 16-20) and Women’s History Month. We’re excited to honor our female ancestors who have impacted our lives. We also celebrate those living who support our children and community well. Join us at Welcome Wednesday this month to celebrate incredible women!
Our very special Heritage Day is coming up on March 18 and I’m looking forward to celebrating all our rich cultures at White Oaks! I hope you signed up to share your heritage or to volunteer/participate in this very beautiful event.
Thanks to all the parents who completed the parent survey! We received 111 responses. We had 82 responses from last year! The White Oaks Parent Survey is still open and we want to hear from you. Your voice matters!
In community,

Notice to Schools: Upcoming Roadway Paving Work (March 16 – April 17, 2026)
The City of San Carlos will begin roadway paving work the week of March 16 through April 17, 2026, which may affect traffic flow, school access, and pick‑up/drop‑off patterns. Please review the information below and share it with your school community as needed.
Project Description
Teichert Construction, under contract with the City, will perform pavement resurfacing throughout San Carlos. Work is also ongoing at the Olive Street and Elm Street intersection to install new ADA curb ramps and a new rectangular rapid flashing beacon system. Pedestrian controls and sidewalk closure signage will be in place; please encourage students and families to follow all posted instructions.
Traffic and Access Impacts
• Street parking within work zones will be restricted at times. “No Parking” signs will be posted at least 72 hours in advance identifying exact dates and times. Vehicles left in posted zones may be towed at the owner’s expense.
• Intermittent street and intersection closures may occur during paving operations, resulting in delays for student drop‑off, pick‑up, and school staff access.
• Traffic will be affected periodically; please follow all construction and traffic‑control devices.
Working Hours
Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
