Volunteers Needed to Prep the Art in Action Open House Art Show
On May 30th, the White Oaks Multi-Use Room will be transformed into an Art Gallery to show off the students' Art in Action work. Volunteers are needed over the next couple weeks to help create this beautiful display. We need people to help hang black background paper, sort art, hang art, make little rolls of blue tape (a take home project), and take down everything after the show.

SAVE THE DATE - School Clean-up Day June 1st
It’s time to “KonMari” White Oaks. Please mark your calendars for Saturday, June 1 to come help with the White Oaks school cleanup. You might have noticed that the district facilities maintenance group has been working hard to clean up our school grounds. Please join us Saturday, June 1st to assist with cleaning up inside our buildings. Our first priority will be to dispose of anything that doesn’t bring our teachers or students joy! If we have enough participants we will also work on sprucing up our outdoor areas. Mark your calendars and look for a signup in next week’s WOW.
Calling all White Oaks Artists!
With this school year wrapping up, it’s time to start preparing for next year’s Walk-a-Thon. All current TK-2nd graders are invited to submit an original design for next year’s Walk-a-Thon t-shirt. Create a simple, one color line drawing in black pen (like a sharpie) on white paper, and put your name and grade on the back. Entries are due to the office by Friday, June 7, and winners will be announced in the Fall. Email[email protected] with any questions.
