SCEF

The San Carlos Educational Foundation (SCEF) is a parent-led 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization which raises money to support the San Carlos public schools.

Thanks to parents, business and community support, we are proud to be able to contribute to programs that ensure a well-rounded education for all students.

SCEF is providing over $3.3 million in grants to support all San Carlos public school programs thanks to the generosity of our San Carlos community.

Funds raised last year will support:
  • Distance and hybrid learning programs
  • Professional development for teachers
  • Computing devices
  • School counselors and mental health programs
  • Enrichment programs
  • Smaller class sizes and more!

How can you help?

Donate to our Annual Fund

The largest share of our grant to the school district comes from our Annual Fund. We ask that each family give a gift of $1,500 per child to the Annual Fund to ensure that our quality programs can continue. You can make a one-time donation or take advantage of our monthly payment plan. We also encourage stock gifts and take cash and credit card payments. All donations are tax deductible. For more information or to make a donation, go to www.scefkids.org.

Workplace Giving Programs
Many generous companies across the Bay Area match employees charitable giving. Please check with your HR department if your company does. It is free money to support our schools and our kids!

Events
SCEF usually sponsors many fun and exciting events throughout the year. Due to Covid-19 we are shifting our event program to include virtual activities. Check out the SCEF website to learn more as events are planned this year.
