Holiday Store Reminder
Pick-a-Project will be on Tuesday, November 7th at 2:40. After you pick up the kids, come to the MU and pick up a project to take home and complete at your leisure (mostly). For those new to this event, you take home a kit that has all materials and instructions necessary to assemble a certain number of gifts. When they are ready, you bring them back! Then on the day of the event, your gifts are sold to the White Oaks students to give to family members on the holidays! We are making memories here! Most projects require NO crafty abilities and are very easy to put together. However, there are a few that require a little more know-how. Along that vein, we are specifically looking for help with sewing projects. Please contact Heather if you have sewing abilities to share!

Please join us for our upcoming PTA meeting this Wednesday evening in the MU. The full agenda will be posted outside the front office on Monday morning. All are welcome!
As we kick off our annual campaign with SCEF day on Nov 8, we remember our first campaign and take a moment to acknowledge how much we have grown in the last 35 years because of your support.
Your donations to the San Carlos Education Foundation enable our district to hire additional educators and provide vital programs at all our schools that would otherwise be cut or severely reduced.
In addition to the personnel positions that SCEF helps underwrite, your School Principal receives direct grants through the Principal Flex Fund, Fund-A-Need and Field Trip Fund. They provide principals with opportunities to meet immediate school needs and support teachers interested in new approaches to engage students.
We hope you will join us this year too, in keeping our schools strong for our children and supporting our educators. Wear green on Nov 8, join our enthusiastic volunteers, show your support for quality education!
Superintendent Search Update
Superintendent Search Update: On Nov 16th, the Board will discuss next steps regarding the search process. Board will review Search firms, who assist Boards in gathering community input, screening and recruiting candidates. Please join us on November 16th to learn more!
